Fast-Producing Shrub + Valuable Nut Crop for Wildlife
Get your order in now, we sell out early every season!
American Hazelnut is one of the fastest-producing nut plants available. Unlike oaks that take decades, Hazelnuts begin producing in as little as 3–5 years. The sweet, protein-rich nuts are relished by deer, squirrels, turkey, and many other wildlife species.
In addition to nut production, Hazelnuts provide excellent browse for deer in summer and create dense cover for small game and birds. Their multi-stem growth habit makes them ideal for planting along edges, in thickets, or as understory beneath larger mast trees.
Hazelnuts are highly adaptable, growing well in a variety of soils and tolerating partial shade. They’re an excellent way to add diversity and multi-layered habitat to your property.
You must protect your trees with one of our Tree Tubes to be covered under our Survival Guarantee. Please read the full details here.
